An entertaining talk for independent travelers to get aquainted with Cairo from an artist's perspective. Topics covered include; traditional Egyptian customs and culture, Cosmopolitan Cairo night spots, arts places to visit, shopping for dance and music items.

2. Egyptian Dance History Seminar (2 hours)

Author of 'Bellydance', Keti researched the cultural history, stylisations and folkloric traditions of Egyptian dance including a timeline of ancient, traditional and modern Oriental dance genres and stars. Includes film footage.

3. Arabic Music, Rhythm & Movement Seminar (2 hours)

Explores the various Arabic instruments and rhythms and how they resonate with certain dance moves and naturally occurring body expression, mood and response - psycho-acoustics for dancers or musicians.
